Chronological Build

3/30/04 -- Back to Disassembly
Things were going pretty well...until we decided to remove and "tune" the transaxle.

With all the discussion of transaxle problems, we decided we had better remove the transaxle and have a go at it.

The first step was to remove the rear suspension.  The rocker arms have a light press fit on the "studs" mounted to the transaxle.  We removed them by gently tapping with a plastic mallet.

While not directly related -- although the picture was taken as we were removing the transaxle -- here are Robert, and our buddies Dave Hopple and Doug Kelm laughing over some evil plot they are undoubtedly concocting to get me.  Remember, even paranoiacs have enemies.

5-10-04: Note, I moved all the transaxle pictures to the new "Transaxle Info" page.
