3/30/04 -- Back to Disassembly Things were going pretty well...until we decided to remove and "tune" the transaxle. |
|
With all the discussion of transaxle problems, we decided we had better remove the transaxle and have a go at it.
The first step was to remove the rear suspension. The rocker arms have a light press fit on the "studs" mounted to the transaxle. We removed them by gently tapping with a plastic mallet.
While not directly related -- although the picture was taken as we were removing the transaxle -- here are Robert, and our buddies Dave Hopple and Doug Kelm laughing over some evil plot they are undoubtedly concocting to get me. Remember, even paranoiacs have enemies.
5-10-04: Note, I moved all the transaxle pictures to the new "Transaxle
Info" page. |
