The Tools and Instructions Sometime you may need to replace your rear main seal. You can do this in the field if you have the right tool and the instructions. If you can get the tool, here are the instructions. |

The Skinny First, you need to get the proper tool It is made by OTC and I found ours on ebay. This is the 2nd one I've owned. I let the first one go when I sold our Spec Racer in 1998. 
This just goes to show you that the old racer's adage "Never sell your
tools." is right. Anyway, when you have the right tool, then you need
to know how to use it. The instructions are not in the shop
manual...but are reprinted below for your use.
